I'm curious about extreme vegans. What do they think will happen to the sheep, cow, etc. animal populations if we really use nothing from them? Have they not noticed that most undomesticated large mammals are riding the endangered lists?
"$500 HOLY CRAP" was on Reddit a while back. Later, a redditor reported that he visited the apartment, met the guy, posted some pics, and accepted questions. He leased the place, as I recall.
vegans have some good points - every reason to be vegetarian is a reason to be vegan. But millions of critters die every time a field is plowed to plant soybeans or wheat.
I think it's fair to say that the vegan one is by far the most awkward. Aside from the "seeking Roomate" dude. Total goober's the two of them and just weird as hell.
Oh, I love that 'pay me but I don't want to know you're here' ad. I ran into several almost exactly like that searching for rental situations in LA. Literally. Even one that looked normal, I called and the poster pretty much said "I want you to be gone when I am here, either working or socializing elsewhere. No hanging out in your bedroom on your days off, but it's a nice house with a parking spot and w/d." Asshats like crazy in LA.

I think Seeking a roommate Page 3 is the reincarnated Howard Hughes.
@uh huh: I love that one.
the last one is every single roommate ad on SF craigslist - east bay. crazy demanding hippies.
"IT MUST SIZZLE."
I live in Portland, and believe me when I say that the militant vegan ad is pretty average when apartment hunting.

"You also have to sleep with me." I can't help but respect the guy.
...but owns a cat? What happened to the cat's right to go outside and live free?
"seeking a roommate" person reminds me so much of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory...
The vegan needn't have mentioned she was white. It is assumed.
I think the first one is Patrick Bateman.
I give some serious respect to a group of girls that watch the Philadelphia Flyers! Stanley Cup's coming to Philly!
But other than that, those broads are nuts.

It cracks me up that the vegan describes herself as "openminded"
