I think the gaming world shall go mad if Yahtzee misses a week. How are we ever to know that it's Wednesday? Australia's grumpiest gamer weighed in on this year's

re: Yahtzee On E3: Are We Gaming in an Age of Uncreativity?

Humans are creatures of habit. Most people try one type of game and upon liking it, stick with it and anything close to it. What a boring way to game. I was like that when I was a little kid and barely had anything to play. I diversified as I got older and now I'm still trying to catch up with my own game library. Well and truly I can not and will not blame the industry for lack of creativity. The ball is purely in the consumer's court. Money is the ultimate voting tool. Most people are voting for more of the same.

Then again, sequels are safe. When games like Okami and No More Heroes come out, they sell modestly well, at best. Make Generic FPS 25, though, and you're guaranteed millions. I don't know if gamers today deserve fresh and unique games.
