ahg: My view was informed by a very close examination of the woman who I was imagining. She was in fact a sun worshipping souther california woman with blue eyeshadow, dry, hard hands, and sunspots a plenty.

anathema: my credit card bill was $600 too. I hit up duty free and changed some money, but most of that disappeared into the register at the Neptune :(

I'm near 40 myself, I absolutely do not find women in their late 30s or 40s repellant by any stretch of the imagination...

The idea that a 25 year old would make slimy advances on a 55 year old, grey bob haired mother with "papery skin, calluses, sunspots, and veins" just because her daughter wouldn't fuck him...

THAT made me vomit in my mouth a little...

But Z, haven't we established that once a woman exits the traditional childbearing zone, she's not just off your radar, but vaguely repellant? So seems like kissing a hot 55-year-old, 38-year-old, etc. would tend to repulse you, based on prior comments. Neither here nor there, but probably has more to do with what you're interested in than A's writing is all I'm sayin'.

Having recently been on a cruise that was a "pacify the parents" move, I feel your pain. My sweetie and I ran up a $600 bar tab in a week. Granted a fair bit of that was sparkly water and Red Bull, but still . . .
