One of my great regrets in life is that I don’t/can’t play a musical instrument. Growing up, I played piano and cello, and though I got pretty good at Piano, I was never able to break out of the strict rhythms and notes put before me.

Quick Ques: This blog is all about me airing my childhood angst, right? Okay, cool.

Because of the above, I never was able to jam, or play around… I needed to have sheet music in front of me. And because of that, I never, ever, ever could touch the drums. Now, I’m not going to say that the V-Beat Air Drums will solve that problem, but they are totally rockin’.

Taking up infinitely less room than their non-digital counterparts, the Air Drums play in, you guessed, the air, working off sticks, foot pedals, and a “Waist Station.” You can jam pretty much anywhere with these. And the added bonus is that even if you suck, they play the drums in the air, so everyone with think you’re super cool and want to play with you.

Why did none of the other children want to play with me? WHY? Sob.
