I don't have a lot of foot problems. Mostly because I have a ban on high heels. Growing up, I vowed to my mother that I would never wear heels. Even on my wedding day. I insisted that, when the time came for that walk down the aisle, I would wear ballet flats, a style of footwear I considered consummately romantic.

I am an incredibly stubborn person, and always get my way.
Every once in a blue moon, however, I find myself admiring the power of heels to make a woman's calves look exceptionally attractive. And then I dig some misguided purchase out of the depths of my closet and hobble around for the rest of the day — most probably in a decidedly unsexy manner — and whine about foot pain.
For such times of stupidity, I wish I had a pair of these reflexology socks on hand. Apparently, they're designed to press against certain spots in your foot so as to eliminate lactic acid crystals that have accumulated, and spread energy throughout your body.
Okay!
