A $200 dry-erase board?

It's a nifty concept. You can see, clearly, whether it's time to make the donuts or time to watch How I Met Your Mother. Scribbled-on-the-hand to-do lists are so last week.

You know, that would be really easy to make, and much cheaper than $200! You can get sheets of dry-erase board at craft stores in a size that would probably fit a standard, fairly inexpensive, deep picture frame. You can also get a clock mechanism at the craft store for a few bucks. Treat the dry erase as you would a picture, frame it (sans glass), stick in the clock mechanism, and go! Rather than use the fancy shelf for the pen, you could just use a bit of Velcro to attach the pen to the frame. I think I have all of the necessary ingredients. I might have to try it!

I totally agree with you Alison. I was thinking the same thing, until I realized that I would never go to the effort to put it together. Which means I shall never ever own it, either way. But for all the rest of you crafty folks, craft away!
