Now, I know not all of us were in the Math Research Group in our High School. Not all of us wanted to be a mathematician in college. And not all of us realized how stupid that was, and promptly forgot everything about math. But I can tell you that this desk is not, technically, a fractal, as it doesn’t go on forever.
However, since it’s physically impossible to create a forever desk, I’ll give designer Takeshi Mayakawa a pass, as it’s still a killer looking piece of furniture. As you can see, the desk has tons of increasingly smaller drawers placed all over each side of the desk (or nightstand, or cupboard).
No word on pricing or availability, but the designer is having an open studio this weekend, from 2pm-7pm each day at 63 N 3rd St., Basement Fl. In Brooklyn. Perhaps a MMeetup is in order?
