Quick Tip of the Day: New Blogger!

We have a new blogger starting today! And no, it isn't a hula hoop girl...

That's actually a picture of me and it was taken just a few hours ago on the set of my boyfriend's short film. I played a hula hoop dancer — and so did Steph. I don't know about her, but I am so tired and sore today — hula hooping for 6 hours straight in heels until 2 am will do that do a girl — and I overslept by over an hour this morning, so I'm even more grateful that today is the new our new blogger starts and I can devote this first post of the day to introducing him. Need a quick tip to help improve your day? Get a 4th blogger on your team! So, his name is Brian and he joins us from sunny Orange county. He'll be helping the gender balance around here, bringing a guy's perspective that this hula hoop girl at least cannot. Please make him feel welcome! His first post will be up in just a few minutes...

    Alex Zalben is a writer living in New York City. He's written for McSweeney's, Modern Humorist and PulpSecret.com. As one-fifth of the sketch comedy group Elephant Larry, he has been written up in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and pretty much every other major publication.
