Being Surrounded by Plants has Never Been So Easy

After recently killing off the two plants I inherited from my botanist friend (he'd be so disappointed to learn I couldn't keep them alive...), I decided to take a chance again and bought two new plants yesterday on a whim as I made my way to hoop class. I really wish I were better with plants so I could live my fantasy of being surorunded by plants in my own apartment. But, you know what — it turns out one doesn't need a such a green them to be surrounded by plants after all:
