I'll probably get married sooner or later, but it's doubtful I'll have a wedding — neither my boyfriend nor I care for the idea of actually planning or paying for one, and would rather just elope and throw some party to celebrate afterwards. But if we do end up having a wedding, I can guarantee there won't be a wedding party — a party as in a celebration: yes; a party as in groomsmen and bridesmaid and best man and a maid of honor: NO! Oh, the stress! Deciding whom to ask, and what they should wear, and what kind of gift to buy them — it all just seems exhausting. No, I'll skip the wedding party...but I'm not so sure I can resist this:
