Dogs Love Ice?

Dear Dog Owners: Please help me out with this one. Do dogs like eating chunks of ice? I mean, I know they get thirsty, and warm during the summer, but I had no idea that dogs would actively eat ice if given the opportunity.

But, according to Improvements, the above is the perfect solution to your dog, ice eating problem. Here's what it does:

- Freezes your dog's treats in a block of ice.

- Secures it to a metal tray, which is attached to the ground, so they can't drag a block of ice around the yard.

So I ask again, dog owners... Is this a problem that needed to be solved?

My dog Lacey would beg for ice from paper soda cups.  She love love loved ice.  I don't know if she would lick a giant block like this, but would definitely crunch some smaller pieces.

I don't think that idea will sell.  Over time the ice will have an adverse affect on toys and the treats will probably be soggy by the time the dog gets to it.
