
Earlier this week, the New York Times reported on bag designers developing airport security-friendly laptop bags. So while you still may be asked to remove your shoes, if you have the right bag, you won't be asked to remove your laptop.
Pathfinder Luggage and Targus are two luggage manufacturers who say they are "rushing to produce the new 'checkpoint friendly' laptop cases and expect them to be available by
late September or early October." The Pathfinder models will range from $100-$200, while the Targus bags will be $39-$100.
