Most Expensive Jeans in the History of the World

Posted by Wendy Atterberry

How much would you spend on the perfect pair of jeans? A hundred bucks? Two hundred? How about: $36,099? Last month a pair of jeans sold on eBay for just under $37,000. At that price, you'd expect the denim to not only lift your ass and lengthen your legs, but mix you a cocktail and rub your feet, too. Unfortunately, the expensive eBay jeans do none of those, but they do tell a story. Discovered in an abandoned gold mine in California's Mojave Desert and dating back to the 1890's, the jeans tell a little history — a feature, it seems, that's even more valuable than creating a perky tush.
