I, Creepy Robot

I have this recurring nightmare where a miniature version of myself chases me around, hellbent on killing the normal-sized me and leaving a wake of tiny destruction in its path. It's sort of like Child's Play meets Single White Female, and when I wake up, sweaty and terrified, my only consolation is that the technology simply doesn't exist for such a thing to become reality.

Well, crap. Now it does.

Send them a photograph and a voice recording, and the Little Island company will make a creepy, probably psychotic robot version of you. Isn't the future exciting?

This IS terrifying. I had a My Buddy doll that scared the hell out of me. I hadn't even seen Child's Play at that point, just the movie cover as I walked around the video store. When I received a pellet gun as a gift for my 11th birthday I went to my room and shot the hell out of the My Buddy doll. Then my dad yelled at me for making dents in the wall.
