Trend Watch: Inspired By Monet

Posted by Steph Auteri

In the past year, I've been trying on more and more skirts and dressed that seem directly inspired by Monet's poppies and water lilies. And I'm thrilled. This is the type of art I've always been into. Why not walk around in it? As my salsa instructor says, men are the frame, but women are the paintings. (My friend Paul responded by saying that he's seen some pretty nice frames; the entire class looked worried for a moment. But I digress.)

After the jump, some impressionist-style pieces you'll be dying to hang on your frame:

[$215, Etsy]

[$242, Revolve Clothing]

[$38, Urban Minx]

[$7.50, Aerie]

[$12,804, Unica Home]
