I don't think I've thought about my state bird since early elementary school, when I first learned about it and then promptly forgot about it.

Talented bird painter Amy Ruppel, however, knows all of them.

Now that you know I'm from NJ, feel free to make all the Dirty Jersey jokes you'd like. But seriously, where else can you find this many diners, malls, and disgusting beaches in such a concentrated area?

I'm curious to know where our readers are from.
