
Things were a lot different back in the Missouri Ozarks where I went to
college. Women would dress up in Wrangler jeans, and men, their
ten-gallon cowboy hats. For a nice dinner out, everyone would head over
to Lambert's Cafe where the waiters would throw dinner rolls at the
patrons. And after dinner, everyone would get comfortable in some
overalls on the back porch and drink moonshine from an old oil jug
while Cousin Billy practiced the banjo.
