Stomp All Over Your Alarm Clock

Exhibit A: I decide to wake my boyfriend up from a nap.
Exhibit B: He gives me the finger.

Being woken up can be a bitch, as evidenced in the photo journey above. Here at MM, we've shown you alarm clocks that vibrate you awake, one that throws tantrums, and even one that will probably facilitate the development of some kind of anxiety disorder. But when you're running on 4 hours of sleep and you hear that familiar beeping, sometimes all you really want to do is take out your rage on the damn thing and stomp all over it.

Sleeping With The Enemy

* No, I'm sorry, I can't stop illustrating my posts with pictures of kittens.

We've posted about some pretty awesome alarm clocks here, like the pole dancer alarm clock, and my favorite--the alarm clock that lures you awake with bacon. But I've just stumbled across the cruelest alarm clock there is---hit the snooze button and you're sleeping with the enemy:

Wendy Atterberry is a recent transplant to New York City via Chicago. You can often find her at some karaoke dive bar singing her repertoire, which includes "Midnight Train to Georgia," "Daniel," and most recently, "Sweet Dreams." Don't expect her to always hit the right notes. She lives in Manhattan with her boyfriend and two cats, and has a blog like everyone else.

Alex Zalben is a writer living in New York City. He's written for McSweeney's, Modern Humorist and PulpSecret.com. As one-fifth of the sketch comedy group Elephant Larry, he has been written up in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and pretty much every other major publication. Their blog was named one of PC Magazine's Top Blogs for 2007, and they recently won an ECNY Award for their viral short, "Minesweeper: The Movie." Alex did not know love until he bought his first Mac.
