  • Shine on You Crazy Videotapes

Okay, I admit it. I still have my VHS copies of Terminator 2 and Pretty Woman. They were the first movies I ever purchased back in the day, and I guess I'm more than a little nostalgic. But just in case I (or you) had any doubts about VHS being dead, here is concrete proof:

  • Shirt of the Day: VHS Memorial

I get kind of sad thinking about VHS. So much of my childhood was spent taping shows on TV. I would sit at home and would wait for my shows to come on (I didn't trust the timer record) and pause during the commercials for "seamless" transitions (sometimes I'd forget to un-pause and I'd be very upset with myself).

God, I wasted so much time recording tv shows.

I still don't have the heart to throw out all my old VHS tapes even though I haven't watched them in years. All those episodes of "Pee Wee's Playhouse", "Ghostbusters", "Muppet Babies", and "X-Men" can't just be put to rest without any respects paid!

VHS has made us all very happy. Memorialize it with this shirt.
