Things that are totally awesome:

1. Meat

2. Lasers

And that, my friends is why Meat Cards are the most awesome business cards ever. Just listen to the text from their website:

We start with 100% beef jerky, and SEAR your contact information into it with a 150 WATT CO2 LASER. Screw die-cutting. Forget about foil, popups, or UV spot lamination. THESE business cards have two ingredients:

MEAT AND LASERS

Unlike other business cards, MEAT CARDS will retain value after the econopocalypse. Hoard and barter your calorie-rich, life-sustaining cards.

Relax guys, you've convinced me!

[Meat Cards]

It's only a matter of time until we all move over to the next social network, right? Twitter and Facebook seem to be existing peacefully together, MySpace is over, and Friendster is... Well, what was Friendster again?

But the day of reckoning for Facebook isn't here yet, and that's why we're still getting new twists on the site, like these business cards:

Just a concept, but a fun one nonetheless. And I think this guy would approve:

Considering my business card is made out of coffee grounds and a gum wrapper (if available), most business cards are the best to me. But, in the world of ALL business cards, this is easily the best ever:

Want to get one for yourself? Go work in PR at Lego. Because they're so expensive, Lego only makes them for people who regularly aren't hard at work in the plastic head-mines.

By the way, the one pictured up top, for a personal trainer, is easily the stupidest business card I've ever seen. Any card that requires follow up instructions to use isn't worth giving out.

It invites the recipient to simply google your name.

A bit presumptuous, but I like it. Nothing too crazy. (My Google search results pre-marriage were a bit more shady, with "masturbation poetry" taking the top spot.)

Get yourself over to one of these way-affordable business card sites and design something equally clever. Wrong!

They're actually earplugs you can carry around in your wallet, that snap in and out of their business card sized case. Nifty?

some photo file on your computer--maybe you even have a bunch posted on
Flickr where they've collected hundreds of comments and have been "favorited"
by lots of people. You love your photos, but I bet you've never even
bothered to print most of them. Why? Because what are you going to do
with the prints--stick them in some album you never look at? Great. But
what if you could use your photos in a practical way? What if you could
turn them into gift cards or notecards or postcards or business cards?
Check it out: Moo.com takes all your favorite Flickr photos and turns them into cards you can actually use. No more corny business cards from your day job--start handing out your info on cards that actually reflect who you are, not what you do in some office from 9-5 (unless that is who you are, in which case, um...yeah...good for you. I guess.).

[starting at $9.99, Moo]
