It's pretty. It's clever. It's soo so true. I believe I'd like to adopt this as the new MM logo/motto. In fact, I'm going to snatch up this print and hang it above the desk where I blog feverishly every morning, too driven to shower and put on normal-people clothes.

Only problem?

There's an actual diamond affixed to the print, bringing the cost of it up to $135. I'm not so sure I love myself that much.

Who Tall Are You?

Beyond the incredible syntax above lies a rather fun little product. Instead of telling you how tall are you, this wall chart tells you who you’re as tall as.

So, maybe not helpful for getting children to understand concepts like “height,” but definitely helpful for hipsters to understand concepts like “Drink if you’re taller than Mousollini!”

The charts come in five different designs: Classical, Yellow, Notorious, White, and Age. The last one, natch, doesn’t have height on it, so much as years and names of “stars” next to it. I’d let you know who old I am, but a blogger never tells his age, don’t you know…

Currently, the charts are only available in the UK, but their website has a handy list of online retailers, or you can e-mail them: info at whotallareyou dot com.

Battlestar Galactica Propaganda Posters

I’m allowed one geeky post a day, right? What? All of my posts are geeky? Okay, enough, people, stop riding me! Especially the imaginary people in my head who are chiding me for not posting more couches and silverware sets.

So yeah, I’m a big fan of Battlestar Galactica. The series, for those of you who don’t like things that are good, is an extremely well written and acted exploration of what makes us human. It’s dark, original, and probably one of the best series on television, ever.

Hyperbole out of the way, look at the funny posters!

Think Geek has a bunch of five, officially licensed Battlestar Propaganda posters, each 22" by 17" and printed on heavy 100 pound satin-finish paper. That’s some quality, people.

The posters are alt-y enough that they won’t look out of place next to the vintage Communist Party art on your wall, yet geeky enough to start a long discussion with your friends about which Number Six is hotter.

FYI, the correct answer is President Roslin. It’s a trick question!
