Generally, when I think of cleanliness, I think of my bar of Dove soap, my coconut-scented shampoo, and 30-minute hot showers.

What I don't think of? Boogers.

This nose shower gel dispenser comes with its own snot-tastic green shower gel. This totally grosses me out. It also reminds me of this. Which doesn't necessarily help matters. ::sigh:: Why are people designing stuff lile this when they could be working on creating hovercars and stuff?

My day hasn't officially started until I've had my coffee---which usually means that the first hour of my day, before I have a beloved cup of Dunkin' Donuts in my hand, is spent grumpy and half asleep. But it looks like I can get my morning jolt before I'm even dressed...

Is That a Shower In Your Pocket?

I once met a guy who had to take a shower every morning for one full hour. Not “wanted to,” but for some unexplained reason (and I didn’t want to pry) had to. And not only that, but it had to be at six in the morning. Also, he took his showers lying down.

I’m 100% serious about this, and if you’re wondering what this has to do with the canvas bag pictured above:

It’s a Pocket Shower, which only runs for about eight and a half minutes. What does that mean, friends? Well, it means that normally the Pocket Shower is 3”x6”, and weighs about four and a quarter ounces. If you fill it with water, though, it holds enough to shower you for the aforementioned amount of time. You can adjust the intensity of the shower with the easy to use dial, and there’s a twenty foot long cord, so you can hang the thingy as high as you can climb.

In case you can’t tell, this is perfect for camping. And not for the guy mentioned up top.

Get Your Voyeur On With An Outdoor Shower

I’ll get this right out of the way: I have no idea of the scale of this thing, only that it looks crazy and cool. Designerzeit has created a series of outdoor showers that mimic the look of their pool compatriots. The one pictured above is called Wave, but there’s also Ocean, Pacific, Rain, and Palm, all with their own metal, futuristic looking design.

And the best part is, there’s no doors to the shower, so everyone can see as you clean your dangly bits.

Well, best part for me, I mean.

Price is available by request, but I can’t imagine these things come cheap.

I do all my best thinking in the shower, and so I tend to believe that our brains are working at a higher level during bath time. After all, when suffering from writer's block — or, back in college, when reaching desperately for oral presentation or research paper topics — the warm embrace of water turned up to scalding has always gotten the creative juices flowing again. Can we harness the restorative powers of showering in a new way, perhaps to increase knowledge? Perhaps so. Which is the reason for the SAT Words shower curtain above, I assume. If your vocabulary levels are already magnificent, how about picking up a new language?
