Sometimes I wish I could travel back in time just to tell teenage me about some of

These
pictures are from Lady Day back in the Ghost Rape motel. I once displayed a
shot of just her face. It was an odd shot from the side of just her face. I
explained that it was her watching herself in the reflection of the mirrored
ceiling. This is what she was looking at. I can honestly say that these are
some of the rawest shots I've taken on an emotional level, as she was
completely lost in her image.

So
being single in this business sucks, in my opinion. It might seem like a good
thing, but it's not to me. It's actually kind of annoying for me. Hard to
explain, maybe.
Dating when you are in this business can be pretty awful
as well. It takes a certain type of person to be able to deal with all of this.
I'm pretty sure that every girl i have met in the past 7 years has been
"warned" that I am "porno guy" before we even go on a first
date. One of my best friends is also a photographer for Supercult, and he has
the same problem. He recently told a girl he liked that he takes photographs
for Supercult, and she just started crying. Then she hung up. He has not heard
from her since. So... There's that kind of stuff. Also, not always an easy
thing when you have to meet the parents. Um... I've gotten lucky with a couple
parent situations, but how many times can that happen? I'm pretty sure that on
first glance, I am exactly the opposite of what a parent wants to see on the
other side of a dinner table.

The
girl in the picture here is awesome to shoot. Luckily for me she wants to go
into business of selling her underwear, which works out for me for as long as
she's in business and needs more pictures.

Constantly
searching for perfection in photos. Once i was talking to a friend about it and
realized it was a control thing. Photography and photo manipulation is simply
an area where I feel a person could one day fake perfection. It helps to start
with a model with the most famous butt in town.
