Crush of the Week: Carla Bruni, Future French First Hottie

Posted by Bryan Christian

Is it cheating to make someone our Crush of the Week if we wrote about her just this morning? We don't care! We'd never heard of Carla Bruni before today and now we love her! What about you? Have you Googled her yet? Get on it, because holy merde, she is, like, plasma-level hot! And have you seen her music videos? Adorable! (Oh, sorry; we mean "Adorable!") Oh, and the part where it's pretty obvious that her marriage to Monsieur Président Nicolas Sarkozy will, by definition, be one of those marriages where they both get to do whatever the hell they want? Oh la la, c'est magnifique!

Does she makes us green with envy? Absolutely. But we can't wait for the first time she comes to meet all the other First Ladies in the world and blows them out of the water with a clingy dress and smashing footwear. Or maybe she'll never even show up to events like that and just sing songs on MTV Europe. We have no idea what in the hell she's gonna be do. But she's gonna look great doing it.

And for that, she is our Crush of the Week.

She used to go out with Donald Trump you know.

Say what you like about her, she sure does love to fuck obnoxious, old right-wing millionaires.

What, are you trying to pretend you write for Maxim Bryan? What happened to crushes on cool people instead of based purely on (plastic) appearance? Mindless drivel. What a disappointment.

All right, all right. Recent crushes of the week include Valerie Plame and History Channel guys -- where exactly would *those* be in Maxim? And what, everyone you ever crushed on was a MacArthur Fellow or something?
