Only three days until Hannah Montana’s movie hits the big screen! I can’t wait! Seriously, I’m freaking out! I haven’t been so excited about a movie since “Hope Floats." Anyway, I got a chance to talk to Hannah on the phone a few minutes ago and all I can say is, she’s a sweetheart.
BOBBY: Hannah Montana! It’s Bobby Tisdale, how the hell are you doing, Sugar?
HANNAH: Please watch your language, sir. My daddy is listening to this on speaker-phone. And it's Miley Ray, now, thank you very much.
BOBBY: You betcha, kiddo, I mean Miley Ray! I know you’re really busy with your music and television career and changing your name and all, Hannah, I mean Miley Ray, but how do you feel about starring in a three dimensional movie?
All I could hear was Hannah and her famous daddy whispering to each other.
BOBBY: … That’s what “3D” stands for, guys.
HANNAH: Oh! I was all like… do what?! What’s he talking ‘bout?... Um, yeah. I love being in a 3D movie. It was such a great experience. I thank it’s gonna be gooooood.
BOBBY: How do the 3D glasses affect that powerful set of chompers you have? I couldn’t imagine—
Hannah’s famous father interrupts me.
HANNAH’S FATHER: Excuse me!? What does this have to do with my daughter’s teeth?
BOBBY: Nothing… I—I just think you really need to be careful when you throw yourself in a 3D movie because it tends to highlight certain features that you may or may not want to highlight. For example—
HANNAH’S FATHER: That will be all, sir. Goodbye! (hangs up the phone)
Short and sweet, just like I like it.
See you in the theaters on Friday. I’ll be the thirty-seven year old man in the back row screaming loudly and wearing night vision goggles.
