We've never really understood why people get so mad at streakers. We find it hilarious and sad how uncomfortable some are with nudity, but even we have to admit, when streaking endangers people and animals, we're against it, too.
An Australian man thought it would be funny to streak in a horse rase, and be the first to cross the finish line. And it sounds like it was pretty laughable, until a jockey and her horse slammed into a wall. And then lost a race they were winning.
Jockey Tracy O'Hara was almost sent crashing to the turf when her horse Morcombe took fright as the streaker staggered on to track south of Batemans Bay during the last race on Saturday.
O'Hara and her horse were well clear of their rivals 100m from home only to slam into the inside running rail when the bleary-eyed intruder entered the course.
O'Hara was "upset and annoyed'' by the streaker's foolish antics.
Rival horse Bournda See stormed home to finish first past the post.
