Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
in London
unveiled new sculptures of Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz on February 19. Wax
sculptures of famous people are a horrible, terrible thing. As if Nicole Kidman
isn’t freakish and waxy enough, Madame Tussauds has to go and make a life-sized
sculpture of her emaciated, spindly body.
What a strange and upsetting concept
for a museum. Unless we’re talking about wax Aishwarya Rai, in that case we wish we lived
in London. Well,
we actually wish we lived under Aishwarya Rai’s bed, but at least London would bring us one step closer to something that looks like her.
