Nothing is sexier than uncertainty and the unknown. Which certainly explains why Oscar-winner Javier Bardem (or Javi, as we like to call him), who is overflowing with contradictions and pulsing with unpredictability, is so sexy. With his tender eyes and broken nose, he's both a lover and a fighter. The former rugby player is an anti-war peacenik. The Jamón, jamón star is shy and no ham at all. Javi comes from a long legacy of acting and filmmaking, but he wants you to call him a worker, not an actor. He is dating Penélope Cruz, but took his mother Pilar as his date to the Oscars, proving he's a total mama's boy. But his films like Live Flesh, Between Your Legs, Ectasy, Boca a boca, and Bilingual Lover prove that he's a bad boy too.  He clearly loves women but after Spain legalized gay marriage said if he were gay he would get married "tomorrow just to f*&% with the Church." 

His tastes range as much as his moods: sometimes he likes Cuban men, other times he likes older Spanish women and sometimes he's into feisty Puerto Rican girls. He goes from suicidal to resilient to homicidal. Because he's so unpredictable, there is one thing we don't need a crystal ball to tell us:  Javi is-- and always will be-- on our To-Do List.
