Sounds like the plot to a terribly cheesy and possibly terrible romantic comedy, but a man in London spent $12,000 on an engagement ring for his girlfriend and hid it inside a helium balloon. We're sure you know what happens next. But the worst part is that the girlfriend is refusing to speak to him until he gets her a new ring. We're thinking she wasn't worth the $12,000. At least he was trying to be cute.
