What Do We Think of Naked Vlogging?

Posted by Brian Fairbanks

Apparently, there's something called the "nude-o-loution" going on that no one told us about and we didn't even want to know...

Now, the issue is going to be in our faces for the next several weeks and we'll be forced to confront our most sacred beliefs while our foundations are rocked to the core. (We were going for a whole "Weinstein Company movie trailer" joke there, but it probably didn't work.) Anyway, from the Metro newspaper:

Begun last week by a user known as Chris3ff, the Naked Vlog campaign has seen dozens of site contributors ditch their clothes and discuss everything from their trip to the dentist to the US presidential election.

The basic premise of the campaign – or the 'nude-o-lution' as some are billing it – is that you lose the clothes and film yourself giving a video blog which is then posted to the site.

YouTube is featuring the original announcement on its front page and more than 100 people have joined the cause. But what exactly are they trying to accomplish? And do we find them incredibly annoying or charming and free-spirited
