Scanner Peer Mentoring Program: Amy Winehouse

Posted by Emily Farris

We've been thinking we should use our power here at Scanner for some good every once in a while, so we decided to start a peer mentoring program where we take troubled young women off of the street and match them up with positive female role models (no, not us, we're still drunk from last night).

Our first case is a young lady by the name of Amy Winehouse. Perhaps you've seen her wandering the streets in her bra talking jibberish?

Well, we think there's one lady out there who can set Amy straight, while still encouraging her to see all the good in herself.

Seriously, we're kind-of surprised no one has thought of this yet. Wouldn't Dolly be the perfect role model for Amy? And the end of recovery could be this really amazing duet TV special, "Scaner Gives Back."
