Commenting Will Get You Laid

Posted by Emily Farris

Let us rephrase: leaving thoughtful, civil comments will get you laid. Leaving mean, nasty comments will get you an STD. OK, while we have no proof to back any of this up, we believe it to be true. And we want to hear from you. We know there are a lot more people reading this here blog than commenting on it. So speak up.

I love, love, love, love, love this blog!  But I'm usually too lazy to comment. At least I'm not too lazy to get laid though...

Scanner Emily, if I lived in New York I would totally try to randomly run into you at a coffee shop. You're the cutest!

I comment all the time. It hasn't gotten me laid. I insist that you bathe and oil Emily and send her to me!

Whoa, whoa. Comments are the just the reaction. Posts are the action.

So, on behalf of the commenters, if you make a good post, you'll get laid. If you make a bad post, we'll give you a herpe sore of a comment (are you listening, Fairbanks?).

I get laid, and I read... but I haven't commented. I'm worried I'm throwing off your numbers, here.

Am married, so there are no rate-limiting factors on getting laid. I read your blog (and Nerve in general) daily.   I especially like that your blog (as opposed to much of Nerve.com) is even relevant to people who don't live in NYC. Even so, you all have the coolest job; I'd totally want to be a Nerve intern if it meant rubbing shoulders with you.

I comment all the time, and sometimes I even try to say something nice. And what good does it do me? I still have to see shit about Britney Spears here.

Ironically, ProfRobert has not yet chimed in. Perhaps you should send someone to check on him.

P.S. Igor, did you find your post?

I comment, if I have something relevant to say, and I'm not too shy or sober.

Okay, awaiting the arrival of the soon-to-be-laying ladeez....
