Most Bootylicious Marilyn Monroe Pic Ever?

Posted by Bryan Christian

We know nothing about this image other than we found it here. It sort of almost doesn't make any sense, right? Like, it's almost too modern looking. You think it's a fake? Any of y'all photo fans got a provenance on it?

Well... If it's a fake, it's a very good one.

But you all know she's looking right at me, right?

I don't have provenance, but I've seen another photo which I assume is from the same shoot (she's wearing the same clothes, the grain and contrast of the film look the same) which is definitely her lying on a weight bench with two small freeweights. I saw it in a collection of postcards of movie stars. - aha, <a href="images.google.com/imgres it is</a>

It's not fake. It's from the same Phillipe Halsman shoot where she's lifting dumbells.  Same jeans, same bikini top. I know of a better bootylicious shot of MM, though.  It's a De Dienes where she smiling, legs over her head.

Yeah, it's gotta be a fake. No one crawled around in halter tops and jeans until after trailer parks were invented....which was 1971 in Winter Haven Florida.
