While it's no surprise that we here at Scanner were a rowdy bunch of Obama supporters, some of us also had soft spots in our hearts for Hillary Clinton. Maybe it was only those of us with vaginas, and maybe that's because we know what she's done for those of us with female parts.
We may not agree with her policies, her politicking or the fact that she may or may not be as self-made as we'd have liked her to be, but we have to thank her.
Because whether or not she's delusional or narcissistic, we now live in a world where five, six, twelve-year-old girls haven't grown up thinking it's out of the ordinary for a woman to run for president (and get damn close to winning!).
And that's something to be proud of.
