Smile! Religious Wackos Videotaping You Buying Lingerie

Posted by Brian Fairbanks

A righteous pastor and his flock in Vacaville, CA apparently have nothing better to do (other stories in their local newspaper include Teen Book Club To Host Pizza Party and Get In The Picture, Camera Club Forming) than harass residents entering Secrets: Lingerie Boutique...

Jeremy White, a local pastor of student ministeries, has been pointing a camera and holding a sign that says "Sex Good, Porn Bad" because, as everyone knows, wearing lingerie in the privacy of your own home is disgraceful obscenity.

"I'm not trying to embarrass anybody," White said. "If you have absolutely no question of conscience about entering this store, then by all means shop away. However, if even only one of the dozens of customers we've deterred from entering is a married person about to do something shady behind their spouse's back then - mission accomplished."

Ah, isn't it nice to know that rent-a-pastors across the country are looking out for us? God forbid we make our own decisions or that we're allowed to purchase clothing items without having our faces all over YouTube.

What?  Doesn't Vacaville have any Adult Bookstores?  Or does this guy just want to critique what the chicks are wearing so he can make fun of the fat ones?
