Ricky Gervais Not-So-Secret And Short-Lived Singing Career

Posted by Ina Maier

Um, so, apparently our favorite British comedian, Emmy nominee, and creator of both the British and American versions of "The Office", Ricky Gervais, has a secret and sordid history as the lead singer of a failure of an 80s group called "Seona Dancing" (Seona pronounced, of course, like "Shaw-na")...

Ricky Gervais appeared on David Letterman last week and was treated to a little trip down memory lane, as Dave resurrected a 1983 video from Ricky's short-lived singing career.

We can't find a good clip of the video from the Letterman show - so here's the best a YouTube search can find. It's from a British talk show that aired, oh, about two years ago, but it'll have to do. Those damn Brits. Beat us to everything.

The Huffington Post has a great clip of the show but they don't want to share. So if you want to see it, you can check it out here.

Can anyone else smell a reunion?
