Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant. Again. (Allegedly.) Probably.

It may have already come to your attention that Jamie Lynn Spears is, once again, pregnant. (Allegedly.) That's all fine and good, but a feat of such miraculous idiocy deserves elaboration. Namely: how exactly did this happen?

Well, besides the obvious, the Enquirer is reporting that (according to, of course, "a source close to the family), "Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding." I think that bears repeating.

Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding.

This, friends, is exactly why abstinence-only education does NOT work and why google should create some sort of sex goggles for idiots like this. Imagine! If only Jamie Lynn Spears had had to answer a series of 5 math questions of mediocre difficulty in under a minute before being able to consummate her teenage passions...The world would be a far, far better place. Or at least a place where this was not the most exciting news of the day.

And while we've repeated "allegedly" for good measure, this is the Enquirer that broke the story. Remember them? They of John Edwards' Love-Child and Patrick Swayze's Cancer story-breaking fame? So, yeah, it's probably true.

Sorry.

UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that there is no way, no how Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant. Or so says their "unimpeachable source."

We're with pregnant. For now, at least...

That kid looks just like Britney's kids.  I thought maybe they took after the Federline but this photo has proven me wrong.  Unless...is this secretly another Federline baby?  Would work with the whole Jerry Springer theme of the family.

Not to defend teenage idiocy, breast feeding, if done right, COULD, it's not a full proof plan, prevent pregnancy. Prolactin, the same hormone that assists in the production of breast milk, also inhibits the release of ovums from the ovaries hence...it usually makes becoming pregnant difficult...I'm not defending teenage pregnancy but it's not like she's going on welfare and has to drop out of school.
