When Divorce Goes Horribly, Nonsensically Wrong

Posted by Ina Maier

When couples get divorced, often the hardest part of the process is the divy-ing up of the assets. There's lawyers, there's kids, and there's usually a whole lot of money, misery, and misanthropy on all sides. Unless you're this couple in Cambodia, in which case all you need is a saw...

The Daily Mail reports:

A married couple who decided to go their separate ways agreed to divide their home and its contents literally - by sawing the house in half.

One day the house was standing on stilts in a Cambodian village. The next, only half was there.

The wife will keep the half that is standing, while the husband has carried off bits and pieces of the home to put them up in a nearby field.

We have to say: it looks like the husband got the bum end of the stick here.

But, more importantly, what could have caused such a hack-rimonious divorce? Well, apparently: nothing. Or, in other words: "niggling differences." Yikes!
