Ninja Mouse Attacks Viper, Wins

Posted by Ina Maier

It all started when firefighters in Nantou Town, Taiwan, caught the 15 inch viper and put it in a mouse cage for safekeeping...

Then the firefighters found what they thought was a hapless, helpless, defenseless little mouse and decided the snake must be hungry. And that's when they learned a terrifying lesson: You don't mess with Mother Nature!

The mouse, who was unavailable for comment at press time but who is suspected to have been trained by ninja warriors on the top of a foreboding mountain somewhere in Asia, decided that it would not go softly into the dark night and started "[attacking] the snake continuously, biting and scratching it," and when all was said and done, the snake was dead.

This is why you avoid feeding live prey to a pet snake.  There is not guarantee that your pet will come out on top.  It is not uncommon for pet snakes to be injured this way.
