What's Wrong With This Picture... Of Her Hand?

Posted by Brian Fairbanks

When we ask you what's wrong with this picture of Sarah Palin's hand, we're not talking about the right one...

Check out her left hand in the below, after the jump photo. Does this mean something or do you think it, uh, got dropped somewhere along the way by accident?

She's not wearing her wedding ring. And according to one unconfirmed blog post (even we won't give that any credence), this isn't the first time in recent days she's been photographed without it. If she and Todd are breaking up, why would they do it now and why would they make it so obvious?

There's got to be another explanation, no? (Besides the perennial internet favorite: "it's a fake!") If not and Todd has had enough of her alleged cheating, say goodbye to a Palin Vice-Presidency...

It's the number of the beast. It doesn't have to be on the head.

"He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name." – Rev. 13:16-17

I've personally never done it, but people DO take off their wedding rings for various reasons... to have them cleaned, in the bathroom, while cleaning stuff, you know, whatever.

Don't you get it, conservatives don't have to live the life they preach, only the rest of us do.  Getting a divorce would not interfere with Ms. Palin's career in the slightest, nor would an affair (their current Presidential candidate divorced a woman while she was recuperating from a car accident!! No the "moral" life is to be imposed on the unfaithful, those who believe don't have to life by their credo.

Now hear this:  Sarah Palin is my girl-crush and I won't have you dissing her!  She probably just came from Tae Kwon Do class, where she took the ring off to avoid injuring her hand in a series of rapid punches to a torso dummy wearing an Obama mask.  See?  There's always an explanation, so lay off!

..it's the same reason why rock star (like me) don't wear the ring....ya want the audience to play make believe that they can have you....

same reason she does that creepy "heart shaped box" hand sign in her lap at rallies...

She doesn't have a tan line either. I often take off my ring (it just bothers me sometimes) but I still have vivid tan line when I do.

But she tans in her cancer bed and likely takes the ring off then (I'd imagine it would get really hot otherwise!) This really isn't such a big deal, lots of folks take their rings on and off. Fingers swell with travel, different altitudes, etc etc it's not like the ring is a holy chastity belt or whatever.

In case anyone hasn't heard her speech in the past week with Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Sarah mentioned in passing that her husband often holds onto the ring on the campaign trail, as it gets uncomfortable and painful on her hand when she is shaking hands with a lot of people. :)
