Who Would You Rather... for President: Paris or Palin?

Posted by Emily Farris

In a few short days, Paris Hilton's music video "Paris for President" will hit the Interwebs and the air waves. But a sneak peek has been released, and after watching it, we can't help but think that if Palin could do it, why not Paris? True, Palin has a little more political experience than Paris, but we're willing to put money on the fact that Paris wouldn't try to overturn Roe v. Wade.

So, who would you rather have in the in the White House? And by, have, we don't mean "have."

What? Palin is pro-life but respects Roe v Wade. Bloggers, you're journalists. Show some ethical responsibility.

Definitely Paris.  She'd be cheaper too - no offspring to, uh, clothe yet in 72k$ NM duds.

sa, that's possibly the most insane comment ever posted on this website.

You don't actually believe that talking point garbage, do you? Sarah Palin is a Republican Vice Presidential candidate who opposes abortions and made rape victims pay for their own rape kits. End of story.

Also, calling us both "bloggers" and "journalists" in the same sentence and chastising us for it was classic comedy. That's like saying, "Hey, you're a dentist, why won't you write me a prescription for medical marijuana?"

Two very different things, my friend. One gets paid to blog lots of small stories a day without editors, the other gets paid to write one story every so often, for which there is plenty of time and money to have proofreaders, fact checkers, and the writer himself/herself look into things. If you want to read journalism, I believe they now have newspapers in online form...
