Just in Time for Valentimes: Smittens

Posted by Colleen Kane

So, a pattern exists to knit "Smittens," which enable couples to hold hands within one mitten--and it's a heart shape! Kind of the visual equivalent of smoochy baby talk, no?

How do we feel about Smittens?

Sure it's a little ridiculous but I had to vote "warm and fuzzy" because the name is so great. Of course I don't understand why people wearing normal mittens can't hold hands, but that's beside the point.

This is PERFECT! How many times have you wandered about with your date and one of you has mittens while the other one (clearly lacking in foresight) forgot their mittens at home. This is the adorable solution. You can share a smitten while the one mitten-less hand can get warm in a pocket. Love it!
