Craigslist Behaving Badly

Posted by Colleen Kane

Two Craiglist ads have been making the rounds. First, a prank by a Texas man on his 21-year-old female co-worker (who spurned him), which may lead to harassment charges. He put up an ad pretending to be her, including a photo taken from her MySpace profile, offering to have sex with anyone who responded on Valentine's Day. She got over 200 offers by phone that day and although the ad was pulled down, she was still getting calls yesterday. Guess some guys had to work their courage up to proposition a stranger for sex.

So that was mean. But the next one falls into the "fake victimless boredom laffs" category on Craigslist.

Wait a minute. Does this mean that not every ad posted on Craiglist is real?
