We missed some stories during that recent week we were at SXSW, one of them being the series of paparazzi photos of Russell Brand letting it all hang out as he surveyed the new day from his hotel room.
However, during that aforementioned week we didn't miss the handful of young men in Austin who were rocking a similar look to Russell, i.e., looking like longhaired stubbly scumbags from 1990. To which our reaction was, really?
