Brando's Beej Shot

Posted by Colleen Kane

L.A. Rag Mag has a post concerning Marlon Brando's secret but not-so-secret gay life, accompanied by a very NSFW photo to back it up. The infamous photo of Brando fellating his man-friend and roommate Wally Cox had been circulating for years, but apparently was just purchased by LA Rag Mag. (Why bother doing that if it's already on the Internet? That's what Gawks said.)

What was news to us were the quotes attributed to Brando regarding his homosexual tendencies.

"If Wally had been a woman, I would have married him and we would have lived happily ever after."

And here's another one from 1976.

“Homosexuality is so much in fashion it no longer makes news. Like a large number of men, I, too, have had homosexual experiences and I am not ashamed. I have never paid much attention to what people think about me.”

And Brando's ashes were even scattered with Cox'.

Wowser! Hiram Holliday. Who woulda thunk it? That TV show was enormously popular in the UK when I was a very small person. I would love to see it again just to see if it makes any impression now.

What I love most about this is that it's Wally Cox. Not in any punny way, but because he was THE voice of the meek and geeky. (I think Underdog was my first true love, an impossible standard for all future men in my life to reach.)

Wow! I remember Wally Cox doing ads for Fruit of the Loom, in which he said, "I may look like Wally Cox to you, but underneath, I'm Tyrone Power." This whole thing with Brando definitely ratchets up the whole gay milleu here. This is wild.

why are you dragging up this BS? as if it's 'news'? this rumor has been flying around since the 50s and it's BS. was not gay. maybe some experimentation, but not gay. leave the greatest actor we've ever had be. rest in peace, Marlon.
