Top 10 Dumbest Anti-Obama Signs

Posted by Brian Fairbanks

How did we narrow this list of dozens, perhaps hundreds of examples of conservative stupidity down to a mere 10 photographs, you ask?

The long answer is that we had a seizure from the Flickr slideshow overload, then a fit of hysterics for twenty minutes, followed by the realization that scary people cannot be reasoned with, even by good work and actual progress, and decided to call it a day with these ten (frightening) images...

With lots and lots of therapy, honey.

We weren't aware small children paid taxes unless corporate America's dreams came true and indentured servitude and child labor have returned.

If you mean in "an arbitrarily-priced future-debt sort of way," maybe. We wonder what that debt would like like after another four years of Bush Administration economics.

What an oxymoran: "speak for yourself" (pro-First Amendment!) and "America is a Christian nation" (anti-First Amendment!)

Right-- because the new face of an Aryan national movement would logically be... a half-black man.

Why did we assume the previous photo would be the worst they could do? Nope. There's a man with a sign who believes rich people paying 3% more in taxes and giving tax cuts to the middle class is equivalent to murdering six million people. How do we know we're on the right side of history? Because this type of person will always be on the other.

If you're like all the previous entrants and find that the facts don't support your idiotic views, you can always try to win by confusion and incoherence.

These Republicans are so confused at what the message is for the Fox-led Tea Parties that they bring all sorts of contradictory signs ("POOP!") to the protest and obscure each other's words. Even the ones we can read don't make a lot of sense. FAIL.

And finally, a sign so stupid it will make even a reasonable Obama hater laugh...

Wow. How effective, sir. We humbly beg your forgiveness for voting for this very BAD man.

By the way, the Huffington Post has several of these in its own Top 10 list of the most offensive tea party protest signs, but we don't think this sign is all that offensive (except to your intelligence.) So, without further ado, our Honorable Mention:

Not that I'm defending these idiots, but remember that the old face of Nazism may have been 1/4 Jewish.

Obligatory sigh of disappointment at how people can be such assholes over something as stupid as politics.

Some (not all) those signs are just as retarded as when liberals call Obama "the anointed" or "our lord and savior." Whatever, man. Nerve's dying anyway. First mean-spirited mudslinging, then banning of rampant nudity. How can I raise children in a society like this?

You're kind of an idiot.

1st sign: Corporations don't enslave workers. Workers voluntarily work at corporations in exchange for pay. They may not like it the work, but it's the result of their own ongoing decision, that they could back out of any time. Corporate slavery is an oxymoron. Taxes, on the other hand, are a matter of taking what one has earned under the threat of punishment. Granted, the sign is racist and inflammatory, but when Obama shackles the responsible people with the debts incurred by the irresponsible, that is slavery. Anyone who's not a douchebag can see where that sign is coming from.

2nd: If you don't understand the meaning of this sign, you're a moron. Obama's radically expanding debt must be paid by someone, either with money or blood; this generation can't pay it all.

3rd: Isn't indentured servitude where someone takes the product of your labor and doesn't give anything back? Hello, Obama!

4th: Ironically, "four years of Bush Administration economics" haven't been nearly as bad as two months of Obama Administration economics.

5th: That sign is kind of dumb, but the assumptions in your comment are even more dumb.

6th: I suggest you do a little research on the historical events that led to Hitler's rise to power. The parallels are frightening, and becoming worse every day.

7th: Taxes paid by the "rich" are paid by everyone. In order to pay those taxes, they have to raise prices, lower wages, cut research for future technology, or downsize. Or, if they go out of business, you're out of a job and the products they made are no longer available. The only thing taxes have ever done is take from those who produce wealth, and give to those who don't. If you want a REAL reduction in taxes, you need to reduce government spending - which Obama will never do.

8th: Yeah, those signs are kind of dumb. You still top that list, though.

9th: The tea party started on CNBC, and was led by noone. Believe it or not, there are a great many independent thinkers who don't like being treated like shit by Obama, after having led productive and responsible debt-free lives that don't require micro-managing by the government.

10th: can't argue with truth.

11th: See the chart? It goes up a little. Bush did that. Then it goes down a little. Bush did that. Then it goes down alot. Obama did that. In less than 100 days. Over a thousand more days of Obama to go. Now, I know you're just going to blame Bush for starting a slippery slope. Look up the Community Reinvestment Act, and you might begin to understand a bit of the liberal bullshit that caused today's economy.

Dumbass.
