Why Did the Grammys Do That to M.I.A.?

MIA is the most badass pregnant lady ever for performing at the Grammys on her due date (on top of already being amazingly cool). But can we agree that the so-called "Rap Pack" accompaniment was a bad move? Moments into MIA's hit "Paper Planes," Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne & T.I. joined her on a "Paper Planes"-infused mashup of "Swagga Like Us." Not to give any undeserved credence to YouTube commenters, but one wrote "love M.I.A., but them blokes ruin that song," and that seems a popular sentiment around the internet this morning.
