to the Huffington Post, Nielsen says that, in addition to the 80,000
people who saw the speech in person, 38 million people watched Obama
the nomination last night on television, "more... than
watched the Olympics opening ceremony in Beijing, the final American
Idol or the Academy Awards this year."
