we're blogging from the Cowtown in the Show Me State; we're home to
surprise our mom for her 55th birthday—don't tell!. You knew the Cowtown was in the Show Me State, right? If so, you're part of the
minority. According to the folks at kansascityisinmissouri.com an
astonishing 94.3% of Americans believe that Kansas City is in Kansas.
And while they're technically correct—there is a Kansas City in
Kansas, it's the one you always see on COPS—those of us from the Kansas
City in Missouri have put up with being called "from Kansas" our entire
lives. And while there's not really anything wrong with being from
