Lennon would like you to make sure every child a laptop. Yes, that John
Lennon. Twenty eight years after his death, the former Beatle is
starring in a 30-second commercial for the One Laptop Per Child
initiative.
Footage of Lennon has been mashed-up with a voice
saying, "Imagine every child, no matter where in the world they were,
could access a universe of knowledge. They would have a chance to
learn, to dream, to achieve anything they want. I tried to do it
through my music, but now you can do it in a very different way."
While
we are so totally blown away by what kids can do with technology these
days (no, really, we're not) we're also fairly creeped out by this
commercial.
